I am unable to get the VISTA newsgroups that I have selected to get any headers dated before 6-17-2006. On this date I was forced to reload windows Vista due to problems. Prior to this reload I was able to go back to the beginning of each . Any ideas? Thanks Mike

news group question
Right click on the Newsgroup, click Properties, local file and then the Rest Button.
After that, right click on the Newsgroup, click Synchronize Settings and select all messages.
Now, click on the main Newsgroup account name (probably something like newsgroups.comcast.net) and you get a set of different choices on the right screen. Hit Synchronize Account and it should get every available newsgroup thread.

Is there a way to do this to a range of newsgroups (i.e. multi select?)

remove the newsserver. Close WinMail. Then open it again and add the newsserver back again. Then you have reset all the NGs.
